New Home, New Magic, Same Jolly Santa!

There’s something extra magical happening at Hyperdome this Christmas, and we can’t wait to share it with you!

Christmas 2026 marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter, as we bring back the wonder, excitement and spectacle of Christmas celebrations on a grand scale, with a spectacular new home for Santa beneath our iconic dome.

From Saturday 7 November, families are invited to step inside an enchanting new Christmas village, filled with whimsical characters, interactive discoveries and magical moments of surprise and delight.

Inspired by the charm and nostalgia of a traditional Christmas, Santa’s New Home Under the Dome is more than just a place to capture a family photo. It’s a whole new festive adventure, designed to spark imagination, celebrate cherished traditions and create memories that will last long after the decorations come down.

Step Inside Santa’s Magical New Village

Nestled beneath Hyperdome’s iconic dome in Centre Court, Santa’s new home is an immersive, maze-like Christmas wonderland, where every twist and turn reveals something magical.

Little visitors can explore Santa’s Magical Hut, discover his luxurious plush Santa Throne and stop by the Letters to Santa Station to share their Christmas wishes.

Along the way, there’s the playful Believe-o-Metre to test their Christmas spirit, Santa’s famous Naughty & Nice List, and a Moving Present Conveyor bringing the magic of Santa’s workshop to life.

Keep an eye out for the larger-than-life Nutcracker and take a magical journey across the Elf Town Bridge, where even more festive surprises await.

With enchanting details around every corner, the experience is designed to make the journey to Santa just as memorable as the moment little ones finally meet him.

Inspired by Our Iconic Dome

What makes Christmas 2026 particularly special is the inspiration behind the magic.

Hyperdome’s iconic dome has been reimagined as a beautiful Christmas snow globe, becoming the creative heart of this year’s festive celebrations.

The enchanting snow globe concept inspired Your Festive Home Under the Dome, bringing together Santa’s magical new village, traditional Christmas colours, whimsical illustrations and festive storytelling into one uniquely Hyperdome Christmas experience.

Rich reds, forest greens, golden details and nostalgic Christmas characters capture the timeless charm of a traditional Christmas, while creating a magical new setting for families to discover and enjoy.

It’s a celebration of everything we love about Christmas, with a little extra Hyperdome magic!

Bringing Back the Magic of Christmas Traditions

For generations of families, Christmas at Hyperdome has been a time of excitement, celebration and treasured memories.

This year, we’re bringing back the magic on a grand scale, beginning with the highly anticipated return of our much-loved Santa’s Grand Arrival Parade on Saturday 7 November.

Filled with colourful Christmas characters, festive entertainment and moments of surprise and delight, the parade will welcome Santa to his spectacular new home and officially kick off the Christmas season.

The celebrations will also include the unveiling of Santa’s New Home Under the Dome and the launch of a very special, locally inspired children’s Christmas book.

And that’s just the beginning! With Santa Photography, festive entertainment and our Christmas Concert in the Piazza on Saturday 12 December, there are plenty of reasons to visit, celebrate and return throughout the season.

A Santa Experience for Every Family

Because every family’s Christmas looks a little different, we’re making sure there’s a magical Santa experience for everyone.

Whether it’s your baby’s very first Christmas, a treasured annual family photo, a special moment with your furry friend or a quieter visit with Santa, there’s something for every family to enjoy.

Pet Photography: Christmas wouldn’t be complete without our furry family members! Bring your four-legged bestie along for a special visit with Santa and capture a paw-fect festive memory.

Sensitive Santa: A little less hustle and bustle, and just as much Christmas magic. Our Sensitive Santa sessions offer a quieter, more relaxed environment for children and families who may benefit from a calmer Santa experience.

My First Christmas: Tiny toes, little smiles and a whole lot of Christmas magic! Celebrate your little one’s very first festive season with a precious photo you’ll treasure for years to come.

Special photography experiences are available on selected dates, so be sure to explore session availability and book a time that suits your family.

A Little Extra Christmas Magic – A Special Gift from Santa!

This Christmas, the magic doesn’t end when you leave Santa’s village.

Every Santa Photography booking includes an exclusive Hyperdome Christmas Storybook, The Magic That Saved Christmas, specially commissioned to celebrate the wonder of Christmas and the places we call home.

Written and illustrated by talented local author Rebecca Timmis, this enchanting story weaves familiar local landmarks and recognisable illustrations into a magical Christmas adventure.

Created especially for Hyperdome families, the book is a beautiful keepsake that brings the magic of Christmas home, long after your visit with Santa.

From cosy bedtime stories to a new Christmas Eve tradition, it’s a special gift from Santa to treasure and share with loved ones for years to come.
